The Committee met on August 3rd and was joined by Dr. Kim Morrison of Diversified Search Ray & Berndtson of Philadelphi. Diversified Search was chosen by a subcommittee of the full committee to assist the committee in their efforts to identify the best candidates to be the next Executive Director of the Charter Schools Institute.
Dr. Morrison will begin working with the Committee to develop a job description.
The Committee held a kickoff meeting on Monday, February 12th where all members were in attendance. The Committee signed confidentiality agreements and was provided an overview of the Charter Schools Institute including their Mission Statement and there was a detailed overview of the search process and timeline.
The Committee decided to seek help from a search consultant and formed a subcommittee to identify and interview possible consultants. The subcommittee will make a recommendation to the full Committee on the potential search consultants.
The Committee will meet again in the near future.
