Institute Senior Vice President Dr. Jennifer Sneed gave the Keynote Address at the Annual Commencement Exercise of Icahn Charter School 1, which took place at the Rose Hill Campus of Fordham University on June 26, 2009. Diplomas were awarded to 28 eighth grade students - the second class to graduate from the school since it opened in 2001.
