Final Notice – The following charter renewals have been approved by operation of law.

Uncommon New York City Charter Schools, an education corporation operating more than one charter, sought to renew its authority to operate the following charter schools:

• Brownsville Collegiate Charter School is located at 364 Sackman Street, Brooklyn, NY 11212, in CSD 23 and chartered to serve 85 students in grades 6-8 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a two-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will serve 220 students in grades K-4.
• Excellence Boys Charter School of Bedford Stuyvesant is located at 225 Patchen Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11233 in CSD 16 and chartered to serve 780 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a two-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education  According to the renewal application, the school will serve 412 students in grades K-8.
• Excellence Girls Charter School is located at 794 Monroe Street, Brooklyn, NY 11233, 1600 Park Place, Brooklyn, NY 11233, and 1485 Pacific Street, Brooklyn, NY 11216 in CSDs 16 and 17 and chartered to serve 1,585 students in grades K- 12 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a two-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will serve 870 students in grades K-12.

The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the renewal applications on or about March 17, 2023, 2) approved the renewals on October 12, 2023, and 3) the renewals were approved by operation of law on or about February 28, 2024.

Final Notice – The following charter renewals have been approved by operation of law.

Brooklyn Prospect Charter School, an education corporation operating more than one charter, sought to renew its authority to operate the following charter schools:

• Brooklyn Prospect Charter School – CSD 15 is located at 341 39th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232 in CSD 15 and is chartered to serve 55 students in Kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. SUNY is currently reviewing a revision request for the school to serve 25 students in grade 5 for the 2023-24 school year.  The school sought a two-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will grow to serve 200 students in grades K-2 and 5.
• Brooklyn Prospect Charter School – CSD 15.2 is located at 341 39th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232, 3002 Fort Hamilton Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11218, and 80 Willoughby Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 in CSDs 13 and 15 and is chartered to serve 1,210 students in grades K-3 and 6-12 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a two-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will grow to serve 1,403 students in grades K-12.

The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the renewal applications on or about May 8, 2023, 2) approved the renewals on October 12, 2023, and 3) the renewals were approved by operation of law on or about February 28, 2024.

Achievement First Brooklyn Charter Schools, an education corporation operating more than one charter, sought to renew its authority to operate the following charter schools:

• Achievement First Bushwick Charter School is located at 125 Covert Street, Brooklyn, NY 11207 and 1300 Greene Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11237 in Community School District (“CSD”) 32 and chartered to serve 824 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a one-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education  According to the renewal application, the school will continue to serve 824 students in grades K-8.
• Achievement First East New York Charter School is located at 557 Pennsylvania Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207, 158 Richmond Street, Brooklyn, NY 11208, and 35 Starr Street, Brooklyn, NY 11221 in CSDs 19 and 32 and chartered to serve 1,190 students in grades K-12 for the 2023- 24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a one-year renewal of the charter commencing July 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will serve 1,208 students in grades K-12.
• Achievement First Linden Charter School is located at 800 Van Siclen Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207 and 370 Fountain Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11208 in CSD 19 and chartered to serve 824 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter The school sought a one-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will continue to serve 824 students in grades K-8.
• Achievement First North Brooklyn Charter School is located at 200 Woodbine Street, Brooklyn, NY 11221 in CSD 32 and chartered to serve 824 students in grades K-8 for the 2023- 24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a one-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will continue to serve 824 students in grades K-8.

Uncommon New York City Charter Schools, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one charter school, has requested the following enrollment revisions:

• Brownsville Collegiate Charter School, located at 140 Montrose Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11206 in CSD 14, is chartered to serve 115 students in grades K-4 growing to serve 220 students in grades K-4 by the 2025-26 school year, the last year of the current charter term. The school requests an enrollment decrease to serve 76 students in grades K-4 for the 2023-24 school year growing to serve 197 students in grades K-4 by the 2025-26 school year.
• Leadership Preparatory Bedford Stuyvesant Charter School, located at 141 Macon Street, Brooklyn, NY 11216 and 832 Marcy Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11216, both in CSD 13, is chartered to serve 1,458 students in grades K-12 for the 2023-24 school year through the 2025-26 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school requests an enrollment decrease to serve 1,092 students in grades K-12 for the 2023-24 school year and going to 1,060 students in grades K-12 by the 2025-26 school year.
• Ocean Hill Collegiate Charter School, located at 791 Empire Boulevard, Brooklyn, NY 11213 and 1137 Herkimer Street, Brooklyn, NY 11233, in CSDs 17 and 23, respectively, is chartered to serve 572 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year through 2024-25 school year, the last year of the current charter term. The school requests an enrollment decrease to serve 340 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year growing to serve 397 students in grades K-8 for the 2024-25 school year.
• Williamsburg Collegiate Charter School, located at 157 Wilson Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211 in CSD 14, is chartered to serve 345 students in grades 5-8 for the 2023-24 school year growing to serve 432 students in grades K, 5-8 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term.  The school requests an enrollment decrease to serve 212 students in grades 5-8 for the 2023-24 school year and 216 students in grades 5-8 for the 2024-25 school year.

The school requests an enrollment decrease to serve 646 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year growing to serve 712 students in grades K-8 by the 2027-28 school year.
