Achievement First Crown Heights-Elementary is one of Achievement First's first two elementary schools in New York. Principal Mike Kerr and his dedicated team of teachers have already established an amazing school. Achievement First Crown Heights-Elementary teachers have designed special homework packets to supplement the core reading and math programs. The school also uses a special "Paw Print" incentive program. Students can earn "Paw Prints" (the school’s mascot is the Cougar) and redeem these Paw Prints for special events such as the monthly Funtastic Friday events. The primary pillar of all Achievement First schools is to provide a rigorous academic environment in which all students achieve excellence. Excuses will not be tolerated. Mediocrity will not be good enough.
