| The mission of the Albany Community Charter School (ACCS) is to prepare students to meet and exceed the New York State standards in the core subjects with a primary focus on literacy, which forms the bedrock of all learning. The mission will be accomplished by a strong focus by the student, teacher, parent and principal on mastery of standards in each subject to ensure that all students are prepared to demonstrate proficiency on the New York State assessments, within a learning community that emphasizes acheivement, respect and positive behavior as a means toward achievement. |
