| With a focus on science and technology,
the Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School offers small-group work
and individual instruction. The curriculum is organized around global
themes. Teachers distribute weekly to students and parents the academic
standards and syllabi to be used, which includes daily objectives,
activities, and homework assignments. The school provides a 192-day
