| Description: |
| The mission of the Excellence Boys Charter School of Bedford Stuyvesant is to prepare boys to enter, succeed in, and graduate from outstanding college preparatory high schools and colleges. The school will focus on literacy, and utilize the "Core Knowledge" curriculum. Student achievement will be assessed regularly using in-house testing and standardized tests. The school will have an extended school day and offer after-school tutoring. Excellence Boys Charter School of Bedford Stuyvesant endeavors to provide an orderly, structured learning environment and will work to inculcate in its students the core values of respect, caring, responsibility and justice. |
