| Description: |
| The mission of Excellence Girls Charter School is to prepare girls to excel in demanding, college-preparatory high schools and colleges and to contribute to their communities as leaders. The school will focus on literacy and numeracy, but will also use content-rich curricula to develop students' storehouse of knowledge. Student achievement will be assessed regularly using in-house and standardized tests. The school will have an extended school day and offer after-school tutoring. Excellence Girls Charter School endeavors to provide an orderly, structured learning environment and will work to inculcate in its students the core values of respect, leadership, responsibility and justice. |
