| Located in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, Explore Charter School’s mission is to provide its students with the academic skills and critical thinking abilities they need to succeed in a college preparatory high school. Graduating Explorers are hard-working, respectful of themselves and others, and possess a love of learning. This mission is based on the belief that all students will succeed in a school environment characterized by: a safe and distinct culture; academic instruction that builds skills and fosters critical-thinking; ongoing opportunities for professional development; a partnership between the school and the home. Explorers are in school longer each day and each year, as compared to students attending traditional public schools.
Explorers are held to high academic and behavioral expectations. |
