| Description: |
| The Grand Concourse Academy Charter School sets high expectations for every child, including surpassing all State performance standards. The school focuses on providing students with a strong foundation in the “three R’s” – reading, writing, and arithmetic. Once the basics have been mastered students will tackle higher order skills. Ultimately, students will engage in challenging work, such as conducting experiments for deep understanding, exploring cultures and histories using primary documents, engaging in debates of classical literature, analyzing great works of art, speaking a foreign language and appreciating musical composition, among others. |
