The Harlem Day Charter School offers a back-to-basics academic program, utilizing a Core Knowledge curriculum, in a high need area. The school's instructional program seamlessly weaves the State learning standards with the Core Knowledge curriculum, and the school emphasizes reading, writing, mathematics and science as well as character development. Instruction is differentiated to suit individual learning styles and support services are in place with an on-site social worker, reading specialist and special education coordinator.
