The mission of Harlem Success Academy Charter School 4 is to provide New York City elementary students with the knowledge, skills, character, and disposition to meet and exceed New York State standards and give them the resources to lead and succeed in the school, college, and life. Harlem Success Academy Charter School 4 is modeled after the first Harlem Success Academy Charter School, which opened in 2006. The school promises to provide a rigorous academic foundation, a safe learning environment, a robust arts and sports program, and the teaching of core values. The school offers a literacy curriculum called “Success for All,” which has a national track record of achievement.
