| The Harriet Tubman Charter School is located in one of the poorest communities within the poorest congressional district in the nation. The school offers a 193 day school year and uses the LearnNow educational program to prepare all of its students to be lifelong learners. Recognizing the need for school and home partnerships in order for children to success, The Harriet Tubman Charter School maintains a Family Academy to give parents the skills to assist them in educating and advocating for their children in unison with the school, as well as empowering themselves.
