Annual Reporting
The Institute created Annual Reporting Guidelines to assist SUNY authorized charter schools in preparing and submitting their Annual Report to the Charter Schools Institute
and the State Education Department.
- Please note that the Annual Report is due each year on August 1st (except where August 1st falls on a Saturday or Sunday, in which case the report is due on the immediately following Monday). Since August 1, 2009 falls on a weekend, this year's report shall be due on the next business day, which is Monday, August 3rd.
The Annual Report is required by statute and governed by regulations that the State Education Department has promulgated. The following guidelines are intended to clarify which sections are required by SED and by the Institute, how to format the report, and to whom to send various components of the report, such that it satisfies all statutes and regulations as well as the school’s charter. |
