First Notice – SUNY has received an application for charter revision.

Success Academy Charter School – Bed Stuy 3 is located at 787 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11221 in Community School District 16 and is chartered to serve 334 students in grades 5-8 for the 2023-24 school year and 254 students in grades 5-8 by the 2025-26 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school requests an enrollment increase to serve 340 students in grades 2 and 5-8 for the 2023-24 school year growing to serve 565 students in grades K-3 and 5-8 by the 2025-26 school year.

The SUNY Trustees, or their designees, the SUNY Charter Schools Committee, anticipate consideration of this request as soon as September 15, 2023.  The Institute welcomes any comments you may wish to provide.
