Second Notice – The SUNY Trustees, in their capacity as a charter authorizer, approved the following renewal application:

Bronx Charter School for Excellence, an education corporation operating more than one charter, sought to renew its authority to operate the following charter school:

• • Bronx Charter School for Excellence 4 is located at 4300 Murdock Ave., Bronx, NY 10466 in Community School District 11 and chartered to serve 360 students in grades K-5. The school sought a one year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2023 to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation. According to the renewal application the school will expand to serve 420 students in grades K-6. The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the renewal application on or about August 15, 2022; and, 2) approved the renewal on December 15, 2022.

Please take further Notice that the SUNY Trustees have or will send the proposed renewal to the New York State Board of Regents for approval or action consistent with the New York Charter Schools Act of 1998.
