Forte Preparatory Academy Charter School

Second Notice – The SUNY Trustees, in their capacity as a charter authorizer, approved the following revision application:

Forte Preparatory Academy Charter School, located at 51-35 Reeder Street, Queens, New York 11373 in Community School District 24, is chartered to serve 360 students in grades 5-8 through the 2026-27 school year, the end of the current charter term. The charter requested the addition of a high school program commencing in the 2023-24 school year serving 500 students in grades 5-9 and growing to serve 920 students in grades 5-12 by the 2026-27 school year.   The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the revision application on or about September 7, 2022; and, 2) approved the revision on December 15, 2022.

Please take further Notice that the SUNY Trustees have or will send the proposed revision to the New York State Board of Regents for approval or action consistent with the New York Charter Schools Act of 1998.
