KIPP Beyond Charter School

Final Notice – The following charter renewal has been approved by operation of law.

KIPP NYC Public Charter Schools, an education corporation operating more than one charter, sought to renew its corporate authority for a full term of five years as well as its authority to operate the following charter schools:

• KIPP Beyond Charter School is located at 553 West 121st St, New York, NY 10027 in CSD 3, and is chartered to serve 451 students in grades 6-10 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a three-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2026. According to the renewal application, the school will be expanding to serve 603 students in grades 6-12. The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the renewal application on or about August 15, 2023, 2) approved the renewal on January 30, 2024, and 3) the renewal was approved by operation of law on or about July 23, 2024.
