DESCRIPTION:Reporting Requirement: Annual Report\nAn Annual Report is required by statute and governed by regulations promulgated by the State Education Department (SED). The report is due each year on August 1st and submitted directly through the State Education Department. Audited financial statements for the preceding year\, a component of the Annual Report\, is due directly to the Institute only by November 1st. \nPlease note the Charter Schools Act requires charters to post each component of the Annual Report (i.e. the SED submission\, Accountability Plan Progress Report\, and Audited financial statements) on the charter’s website as each component becomes available. \nAuthority:  \n\nEducation Law § 2857(2)8 NYCRR § 119.3Charter Agreement (paragraph 6.1 and paragraph 2.12) \nSubmit to:  \n\n\nState Education Department; Charter Schools Institute via Epicenter

DESCRIPTION:Reporting Requirements: Quarterly Reports\nSchools must submit a statement of income and expenses within 45 days of the end of Q1\, Q2 and Q3.  The Q4 statement is due due within 30 days after the end of the quarter so that schools can meet the fiscal requirements outlined in the Annual Report.  The statements are due as follows: \n\nQ1 – November 15\nQ2 – February 15\nQ3 – May 15\nQ4 – August 1\n\nAuthority: \n\nCharter Agreement (paragraph 5.2) \n\n\nSubmit to:  \nSubmit to Charter Schools Institute via COMPASS. If the report will not be submitted by the due date\, please email a “Request for Extension” including a reason why\, before the due date to charter.finance@suny.edu.
