First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following renewal request:

Success Academy Charter Schools – NYC, an education corporation operating more than one charter, seeks to renew its authority to operate the following charter school:

• • • • Success Academy Charter School – Bronx 4 is located at 885 Bolton Avenue, Bronx, New York, NY 10473 in Community School District 8 and chartered to serve 445 students in grades K-4 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school seeks a three year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024 to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation. According to the renewal application, the school will expand to serve 643 students in grades K-4.

The SUNY Trustees, or their designees, the SUNY Charter Schools Committee, anticipate consideration of this application as soon as September 1, 2023.  The Institute welcomes any comments you may wish to provide.
