NOTE: This notice has been amended to provide the updated format of the Joint Public Hearing for this proposal. Due to the temporary extension of the Governor’s Executive Order concerning Open Meetings Law, the Joint Public Hearing for this proposal will be held via teleconference on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Details about accessing this Joint Public Hearing are below. No changes have been made to the original Educational Impact Statement (EIS) and Building Utilization Plan (BUP) for this proposal, posted by the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) on March 4, 2022.

Purpose: As required by New York Education Law, the purpose of this hearing is for the SUNY Trustees to hear public comments about the New York City Department of Education’s (NYCDOE’s) plan to allow, commencing in the fall of 2022, for the 2022-2023 school year, the Kindergarten of Zeta Charter School – Inwood 1 to be temporarily co-located in part of Building M098, which is owned by the NYCDOE.
