First Notice – The SUNY Trustees, in the capacity as a charter authorizer, have received the following renewal application:
East Harlem Scholars Academy Charter School is located at 2050 Second Avenue, New York, New York 10029 and 1 East 104th Street New York, New York 10029 in Community School District 4 and chartered to serve 1,034 students in grades K-12. The school seeks a five year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2023. According to the renewal application the school will serve 1,142 students in grades K-12.
The SUNY Trustees, or their designees, the SUNY Charter Schools Committee, anticipate consideration of this application as soon as November 1, 2022.
