Second Notice – The SUNY Trustees have approved the following renewal application.
Public Prep Charter School Academies, an education corporation operating more than one charter, sought to renew its authority to operate the following charter school:
- Boys Preparatory Charter School of New York is located at 192 East 151st Street, Bronx, NY 10451, and 1160 Beach Avenue, Bronx, NY 10472, in CSDs 7 and 12 and chartered to serve 969 students in grades K-10 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a one-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation. According to the renewal application, the school will expand to serve 795 students in grades K-11. The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the renewal application on or about March 17, 2023, and 2) approved the renewal on October 12, 2023.
