School Mission

The mission of the Merrick Academy-Queens Public Charter School is to create one of the finest public schools in America through use of the charter school process; to serve 'at riskÆ’?ï¿½ children of Springfield Gardens and Jamaica, Queens; and to create a model for charter public school design that can be replicated in disadvantaged neighborhoods everywhere.
