Second Notice – The SUNY Trustees have approved the following charter revision.
Math, Engineering, and Science Academy Charter High School 2 is an education corporation with the authority to operate Math, Engineering, and Science Academy (MESA) Charter High School: South Brooklyn, which is planned to open in August 2025 at 1222 63rd Street, Brooklyn, NY 11219 in CSD 20 serving 125 students in grade 9 and growing to serve 490 students in grades 9-12 by the 2029-30 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The education corporation requested to contract with MESA Links, Inc., a not-for-profit educational management service provider, to provide business and academic related services including but not limited to educational strategies, curriculum and program development, business administration, recruitment, and financial management. The SUNY Charter Schools Institute, as the SUNY Trustees’ designee: 1) received the revision application on or about April 28, 2025, and 2) approved the revision application on May 30, 2025.
