Sandy Malloy, Managing Director of Administration
Sandy Malloy is the Managing Director of Administration, and is responsible for oversight of all internal fiscal, budgetary, IT/infrastructure, and administrative matters at the Institute. This role ensures that the entire Institute team has the resources needed to effectively monitor and support the Institute’s vast charter school portfolio across New York State. Sandy uses her experience in administration and finance to help guide the Institute to achieve its Strategic Priorities while operating within the scope of SUNY and the Research Foundation for SUNY’s operating structures.
Sandy rejoined the Institute in 2018 for a second time as Director of Administration, having served in the same role for several years in the early days of New York’s Charter Law. Sandy also previously served as Assistant Director in the Division of Academic and Operation Services in the Office of the Provost at SUNY System Administration, and Grants Coordinator for the SUNY Charter Schools Institute.
Sandy holds an MPA from SUNY Albany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, and a BS in Economics and Psychology from St. Lawrence University.

Christine Lewandowski, Administrative Analyst
Christine Lewandowski serves as an Administrative Analyst with the SUNY Charter Schools Institute. In this role, she is responsible for assisting with key fiscal, operational, and administrative matters including procurement, developing vendor and consultant agreements, managing and tracking payments, conducting reconciliation, developing new employee onboarding plans, and supporting instituting recruitment activities. Prior to the Institute, Christine worked at the SUNY Research Foundation at SUNY Albany. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University at Albany.

Joslyn Yetto, Executive Assistant
Joslyn Yetto serves as the Executive Assistant at the Institute, acting as the primary point of contact for SUNY’s Leadership Team, charter school leaders, and key stakeholders, including the SUNY Board of Trustees and the New York State Education Department. In this role, she manages the Executive Director’s calendar, communications, and travel logistics, while also coordinating meetings, professional development sessions, recruitment efforts, and special events. Prior to joining the Institute, Joslyn worked as a legal assistant and is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at SUNY Empire State University.

Dory Fitzpatrick, Administrative Analyst
Dory Fitzpatrick serves as an Administrative Assistant at the SUNY Charter Schools Institute. In this role, she offers comprehensive and multi-faceted support to the Institute’s various teams and plays a vital role in essential monitoring tasks. Dory earned her Bachelor of Science from SUNY Oneonta.

Mari Hollingsworth, Administrative Assistant
Mari Hollingsworth serves as the Institute’s Administrative Assistant. For the past 10 years, Mari has been supporting the management of the Institute’s core functions. An integral team member, Mari coordinates staff travel arrangements and reimbursements, assists with job searches, and manages electronic communication and mail distribution. Mari also supports both the academic and legal/fiscal teams with drafting correspondence and purchasing office supplies.
