Success Academy Charter Schools – NYC

First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following renewal application:

Success Academy Charter Schools – NYC, an education corporation operating more than one charter, seeks to renew its authority to operate the following charter schools:

  • Success Academy Charter School – Bronx 1 is located at 339 Morris Ave, Bronx, NY 10451 in CSD 7 and chartered to serve 596 students in grades K-7 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school seeks a two-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2025, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will grow to serve 780 students in grades K-8.
  • Success Academy Charter School – Bronx 2 is located at 270 East 167th St, Bronx, NY 10456 and 450 St. Pauls Pl, Bronx, NY 10456, both in CSD 9, and chartered to serve 1,054 students in grades K-8 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school seeks a two-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2025, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will decrease to serve 995 students in grades K-8.
  • Success Academy Charter School – Harlem 5 is located at 175 West 134th St, New York, NY 10030 and 301 West 140th St, New York, NY 10030, both in CSD 5, and chartered to serve 1,065 students in grades K-8 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school seeks a two-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2025, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will decrease to serve 758 students in grades K-8.
