Brilla College Preparatory Charter Schools

First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following renewal application:

Brilla College Preparatory Charter Schools, an education corporation operating more than one charter, seeks to renew its charter for five years as well as its authority to operate the following charter schools:

  • Brilla Caritas Charter School is located at 2336 Andrews Ave, Bronx, NY 10468, in Community School District (“CSD”) 10 and chartered to serve 450 students in grades K-4 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school seeks a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2025.  According to the renewal application, the school will grow to serve 796 students in grades K-8.
  • Brilla College Preparatory Charter School is located at 413 East 144th St, Bronx, NY 10454 and 222 Alexander Ave, Bronx, NY 10454, both in CSD 7, and chartered to serve 942 students in grades K-11 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school seeks a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2025.  According to the renewal application, the school will decrease to serve 796 students in grades K-8.
  • Brilla Pax Charter School is located at 2336 Andrews Ave, Bronx, NY 10468 in CSD 10 and chartered to serve 366 students in grades K-4 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school seeks a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2025.  According to the renewal application, the school will grow to serve 796 students in grades K-8.
  • Brilla Veritas Charter School is located at 600 East 156th St, Bronx, NY 10455 and 452 College Ave, Bronx, NY 10451, both in CSD 7, and chartered to serve 711 students in grades K-7 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school seeks a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2025.  According to the renewal application, the school will grow to serve 796 students in grades K-8.
