First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following renewal application:

Explore Charter Schools of Brooklyn, an education corporation operating more than one charter, seeks to renew its authority to operate the following charter school:

• Explore Empower Charter School is located at 188 Rochester Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11213 in CSD 17 and chartered to serve 540 students in grades K-8 for the 2024-25 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school seeks a four-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2025, to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation.  According to the renewal application, the school will grow to serve 553 students in grades K-8.
