The SUNY Renewal Benchmarks provide a framework for the Institute to gather and evaluate evidence to determine whether a school has made an adequate case for renewal. In addition, the Benchmarks provide schools with a guide to understanding the Institute’s evaluative criteria. School leaders should be fully aware of the content of the Benchmarks at the time of renewal.
