First Notice – The SUNY Trustees, in the capacity as a charter authorizer, have received the following renewal application:
Leadership Preparatory Canarsie Charter School is located at 1001 East 100th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11236 and 1070 East 104th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11236 in Community School District 18 and chartered to serve 780 students in grades K-8. The school seeks a three year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2023 to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation. According to the renewal application the school will serve 783 students in grades K-8.
The SUNY Trustees, or their designees, the SUNY Charter Schools Committee, anticipate consideration of this application as soon as November 1, 2022.
