First Notice – The SUNY Trustees received the following revision application:

Wildflower New York Charter School, located at 1332 Fulton Avenue, Bronx, New York 10456 in Community School District 9, is chartered to serve 80 students in grades K-5 for the 2025-26 school year growing to serve 114 students in grade K-5 by the 2029-30 school year, the final year of the current charter term.  The school requests an enrollment revision to add a middle school program starting in the 2026-27 school year with five students in grade 6 and growing to serve 151 students in grades K-8 by the 2029-30 school year.

The SUNY Trustees, or their designees, the SUNY Charter Schools Committee, anticipate consideration of this application as early as January 22, 2026. Legacy College Preparatory Charter School, located at 400 East 145^th Street, Bronx, New York 10454 and 808 Cauldwell Avenue, Bronx, New York 10456 in Community School District 7, is chartered to serve 811 students in grades 6-12 for the 2026-27 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school requests an enrollment revision to add an elementary program starting in the 2026-27 school year with 100 students in grades K-1 for a total of 750 students in grades K-1 and 6-12 for the 2026-27 school year.

Brilla College Preparatory Charter Schools, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one school, requests the following revision:

• Brilla College Preparatory Charter School, located at 413 East 144^th Street, Bronx, New York 10454, 222 Alexander Avenue, Bronx, New York 10454, and 1160 Beach Avenue, Bronx, New York 10472 in Community School Districts (“CSDs”) 7 and CSD 12, respectively, is chartered to serve 921 students in grades K-12 for the 2025-26 school year growing to serve 941 students in grades K-12 by the 2029-30 school year, the final year of the current charter term  The school requests to revise the structure of its joint high school program ceasing the partnership with Public Prep Charter School Academies at the end of 2025-26 school year and continuing the high school program known as “Vertex Partnership Academies” solely under Brilla College Preparatory Charter School’s charter.  The school also requests an enrollment revision to serve 1,158 students in grades K-12 for the 2026-27 school year growing to serve 1,182 students in grades K-12 by the 2029-30 school year to accommodate and permit the high school students from Public Prep Charter School Academies who currently attend the program.

Second Notice – The SUNY Trustees approved the following charter revision.

Success Academy Charter Schools – NYC, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one school, sought the following revisions:

• Success Academy Charter School – Bronx 5 Upper, located at 604 East 139th Street, Bronx, 10454 in Community School District (“CSD”) 7, is chartered to serve 119 students in grades 3-5 growing to serve 206 students in grades K-4 for 2026-27 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought an enrollment revision to serve 253 students in grades K-5 for the 2025-26 school year and 638 students in grades K-4 for the 2026-27 school year.
• Success Academy Charter School – Bronx 5 Lower, located at 604 East 139th Street, Bronx, 10454 in CSD 7, is chartered to serve 250 students in grades K-2 growing to serve 640 students in grades K-4 by the 2026-27 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The education corporation requested to establish a separate education corporation, Strive Charter School, under a separate board of trustees to govern and operate this charter school in order to provide a program rooted in the successful educational program operated by the current education corporation but allowing for a different and innovative model delivery with an independent board of trustees operating a school with optional expanded hours and school year. The education corporation also sought an enrollment revision for this charter school which would permit the school to serve 325 students in grades K-4 for the 2026-27 school year.
• Success Academy Charter School – Norwood, located at 268 East 207th Street, Bronx, NY 10467 in CSD 10, is chartered to serve 533 students in grades K-3 for the 2025-26 school year and 633 students in grades K-4 for the 2026-27 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school requested an enrollment revision to serve 593 students in grades K-4 for the 2025-26 school year.

The SUNY Trustees, or the SUNY Charter School Institute, as the SUNY Trustees’ designee: 1) received the revision application on or about August 27, 2025, and 2) approved the revision application on October 15, 2025.
