First Notice – The SUNY Trustees, in the capacity as a charter authorizer, have received the following renewal application:

East Harlem Scholars Academy Charter School II is located at 1573 Madison Avenue, New York, New York 10029 in Community School District 4 and chartered to serve 522 students in grades K-8. The school seeks a five year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2023. According to the renewal application the school will serve 526 students in grades K-8.

The SUNY Trustees, or their designees, the SUNY Charter Schools Committee, anticipate consideration of this application as soon as November 1, 2022.  The Institute would welcome any comments you might wish to provide.
