First Notice – The SUNY Trustees, in the capacity as a charter authorizer, have received the following renewal application:
Harlem Village Academy West Charter School is located at 74 West 124th Street, New York, New York 10027, 132 West 124th Street, New York, New York 10027, 244 West 144th Street, New York, New York, 10030 and 35 West 124th Street, New York, New York 10027 in Community School District 5 and chartered to serve 915 students in grades K-12. The school seeks a five year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2023. According to the renewal application the school will serve 743 students in grades K-12.
The SUNY Trustees, or their designees, the SUNY Charter Schools Committee, anticipate consideration of this application as soon as November 1, 2022.
