Second Notice – The SUNY Trustees have approved the following renewal application.

KIPP NYC Public Charter Schools, an education corporation operating more than one charter, sought to renew its corporate authority for a full term of five years as well as its authority to operate the following charter schools:

• KIPP Always Mentally Prepared Charter School is located at 1224 Park Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11213, in CSD 17, and is chartered to serve 882 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024. According to the renewal application, the school will be expanding to serve 922 students in grades K-8.
• KIPP Beyond Charter School is located at 553 West 121st St, New York, NY 10027 in CSD 3, and is chartered to serve 451 students in grades 6-10 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a three-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2026. According to the renewal application, the school will be expanding to serve 603 students in grades 6-12.
• KIPP Bronx Charter School II is located at 2720 Jerome Ave, Bronx, NY 10453 in CSD 10, and is chartered to serve 825 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024. According to the renewal application, the school will be expanding to serve 950 students in grades K-8.
• KIPP Bronx Charter School III is located at 1504 Macombs Rd, Bronx, NY 10452, and 201 East 144th St, Bronx, NY 10451 in CSDs 7 and 9, and is chartered to serve 1,157 students in grades K-10 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024. According to the renewal application, the school will be expanding to serve 3,135 students in grades K-12.
• KIPP Freedom Charter School is located at 1825 Prospect Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, and 2246 Jerome Ave, Bronx, New York 10453 in CSDs 10 and 12, and is chartered to serve 555 students in grades K-2 and 6-8 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024. According to the renewal application, the school will be expanding to serve 845 students in grades K-8.
• KIPP Infinity Charter School is located at 201 East 144th St, Bronx, NY 10451, and 625 West 133^rd Street, Bronx, NY 10453, in CSDs 5 and 7, and is chartered to serve 1,778 students in grades K-12 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024. According to the renewal application, the school will be decreasing to serve 894 students in grades K-8.
• KIPP S.T.A.R College Prep Charter School is located at 433 West 123rd St, Bronx, NY 10027, and 625 West 133rd St, New York, NY 10027 in CSD 5, and is chartered to serve 804 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a five-year renewal of the charter commencing July 1, 2024. According to the renewal application, the school will be expanding to serve 830 students in grades K-8.
• KIPP NYC Washington Heights Academy Charter School is located at 21 Jumel Pl, New York, NY 10032, and 586 West 177th St, New York, NY 10033, CSD 6, and is chartered to serve 850 students in grades K-8 for the 2023-24 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school sought a five-year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2024. According to the renewal application, the school will be expanding to serve 855 students in grades K-8.

The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the renewal applications on or about August 15, 2023, and 2) approved the renewals on January 30, 2024.
