Second Notice – The SUNY Trustees, in their capacity as a charter authorizer, approved the following renewal application:
Uncommon New York City Charter Schools, an education corporation operating more than one charter, sought to renew its authority to operate the following charter school:

- Leadership Preparatory Canarsie Charter School is located at 1001 East 100th, Brooklyn NY 11236 and 1070 East 104th St., Brooklyn, NY 11236 in Community School District 18 and chartered to serve 780 students in grades K-8. The school sought a three year renewal of the charter commencing August 1, 2023 to align its charter with other schools under the education corporation. According to the renewal application the school will serve 783 students in grades K-8. The SUNY Trustees: 1) received the renewal application on or about August 15, 2022; and, 2) approved the renewal on December 15, 2022.
Please take further Notice that the SUNY Trustees have or will send the proposed renewal to the New York State Board of Regents for approval or action consistent with the New York Charter Schools Act of 1998.
