South Shore Charter School

Second Notice – SUNY has approved the following revision application.

• South Shore Charter School is approved to be located in the Central Islip Union Free School District and chartered to serve 150 students in grades K-1 for the 2023-24 school year and growing to serve 450 students in grades K-5 by the 2027-28 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school requested to temporarily incubate in the Sachem Central School District for a period not to exceed two years while facility acquisition and construction are completed within the Central Islip Union Free School District. The SUNY Trustees approved the revision on or about June 14, 2023.
