Ascend Charter Schools

First Notice – The SUNY Trustees have received the following revision applications:

Ascend Charter Schools, an education corporation with the authority to operate more than one charter school, has requested the following enrollment revisions:

• Brooklyn Ascend Charter School is located at 205 Rockaway Parkway, Brooklyn, NY, 123 East 98^th Street, Brooklyn, NY, and 1501 Pitkin Avenue, Brooklyn, NY in CSDs 18, 17, and 23, respectively, and is chartered to serve 1,395 students in grades K-12 growing to serve 1,448 students in grades K-12 by the 2028-29 school year, the final year of the current charter term. The school requests an enrollment revision to serve 1,026 students in grades 2-12 for the 2024-25 school year decreasing to serve 324 students in grades 9-12 by the 2028-29 school year.    The elementary and middle school grades will be served by Brooklyn Ascend Charter School 6.
• Brooklyn Ascend Charter School 6, to be located in CSD 13, is chartered to serve 224 students in grades K-1 growing to serve 672 students in grades K-5 by its fifth year of operation.  The school requests an enrollment revision to serve 189 students in grades K-1 for the 2024-25 school year growing to serve 972 students in grades K-8 for the 2028-29 school year.
